This week seven notes, bunch inbetween - apply some groove, some attitude - we're callin it the DIATONIC show this week. Ah jeez - cut us some slack!! Seriously good blues n roots n I wouldn't put you wrong. From Australia fantastic stuff from Geoff Achison, Matt Dwyer, Pugsley Buzzard and that Whitley/Lang partnership 'Dislocation Blues' tests the bounds of mortality. Brilliant! An after some requests - more hot rod'n truck stuff from the Detonators from downunder. Also fabulous blues from Ruthie Foster tinged with gospel, n new US bands goin places Soul Risin and Root Doctor. And finally who can resist some bluegrass/roots from Jerry Douglas on dobro with Bela Fleck on banjo. Just too good. Hope you're diggin it like I am.
